  17. AddToHotlist.aweb is an Arexx script that let you design a conveniently
  18. arranged hotlist for AWeb.
  19. Basicaly, it grab the url and put it in the hotlist.
  20. But AddToHotlist make use of a undocumented feature in AWeb so you can
  21. create catagories/groups for different resources eg. Hardware, Software...
  22. This way you can place the url there where you want it and have it all
  23. arranged for quick reference.

  27. - url's reference/link information can be editted for easy understanding
  28.  
  29. - add's url's global or to a special catagorie
  30.  
  31. - make use of the rexxreqtools.library (*)

  33. - keeps an index of all catagories for easy searching through hotlist
  34.   when loaded

  40. INSTALLATION:

  43. Just copy AddToHotlist.aweb to the directory of AWeb or create here
  44. a directory called 'arexx' (if you don't already have one) so you can put
  45. other AWeb scripts here to.
  46.  
  47. NOTE:
  48.       Make sure there's NOT an 'aweb.hotlist' file on disk if you start
  49.       AddToHotlist for the first time.
  50.       If you already using the hotlist read the 'TIP:' part then!

  53. USAGE:
  54. ------

  56. If you have a url that you would like to save, just start AddToHotlist.aweb
  57. from the Arexx menu of AWeb.
  58. A requester come up with the url and all catagories, now you can choose
  59. which catagorie you like to add the url to or create a new catagorie.
  60. If you not cancel the opereation you now have a option to edit de 
  61. reference/link information line and the url will be added to the hotlist.

  63.  The  buttons you may come accross...
  64.  
  65.           1),2),3).... These are connected to the catagories found in the
  66.                        hotlist.
  67.           Page>        AddToHotlist will only show 9 catagories at a time,
  68.                        This button will step through the pages if there is
  69.                        more than 9 catagories, otherwise no button is seen.
  70.           Add          This will add the url global to the hotlist.
  71.                        This is the same as AWeb do.
  72.           New          Create a new catagorie where you want place the
  73.                        url in.
  74.           Cancel       Cancel this whole operation.

  81. If you already using the hotlist with AWeb follow these steps:
  82.  
  83. - rename the aweb.hotlist to something else
  84.  
  85. - start AWeb (offline use) and load the renamed hotlist with AWeb's
  86.   menu option 'Hotlist/IBrowse...'
  87.  
  88. - click an url (ignore the error) and start AddToHotlist.aweb.
  89.   Now you can create catagories en save the url's
  90.  
  91. - repeat the above step for all url's in the old hotlist
  92.  
  93. - remove the renamed hotlist.

  96. Now you have full advantage of AddToHotlist.
